Maxime

I was looking to get ready for the ski season and I was not happy with the results I was getting by myself going to the gym and running.

During an introductory session, Emi set out to understand my motivations and constraints as well as tested me on some key anearobic and fitness exercises. Emi set out clear goals and drew up a 10-week plan that was designed to improve my fitness to the level I wanted.

The plan suited my timetable perfectly and let me work on my own with clear objectives to meet evey week. Emi also gave me valuable advice as to what changes I should make to my diet to reach the goals I was aiming for. Once a week we met and trained together during a challenging session where Emi put me to the test and made me push myself. She was flexible as to when and where we would meet.

At the end of the 10-week plan, I felt stronger and faster and this was backed up by improvements across the board on all the benchmark points we set out from the start. I could only recommend Emi for someone eager to reach their goals and who is looking for a designed training plan tailored to their needs and constraints.

Baby Jack and I love Emi’s "Mums that Run group"! I’m certainly not a talented runner but its so nice to be outside and getting some proper exercise without having to worry about who can take care of the little one. It's lovely to chat and get some advice from Emi too on keeping fit after having had a baby.

The runs are really enjoyable, with lots of encouragement and support. Plus, running with a buggy makes for a great all-round workout!

“Just a (long) quick message to say THANK YOU.

I have spent the last two days in London having an absolute blast, and a large part of that was (a) shopping and (b) seeing ex-colleagues.

I have utterly loathed shopping for the last 5 years (used to love it), because I was literally revolted by the sight of myself in a mirror, and was forced to look for clothes to cover me up. This trip, it has been so much fun, I have bought clothes to feel sexy in. And I feel proud of what I see in the mirror, even if there’s still plenty of work to be done, I feel strong, toned and on the right track to buy form fitting clothes! Thank you thank you thank you - for getting me to train even in the snow, and for showing me how it doesn’t have to be horrendously painful to have a healthy, happy body.

Secondly, I met with ex-colleagues, every single one of which has said how good I look, what a sense of calm and composure I have and last night someone told me that I was an advert for “retirement and motherhood”!! Though I’m not retired, I’ll take the compliment! Again, thanks to you, happy body, happy mind.”
